AML QA Specialist – Multilingual (Arabic/French/Spanish/Italian)

About the role

The Compliance Quality team is seeking a multilingual AML Quality Assurance Specialist to audit high‑complexity AML operations across Amazon's payment entities. The role ensures robust controls, minimizes risk, and identifies improvement opportunities while supporting operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform AML quality audits on behalf of the Quality Assurance team.
• Partner with operational teams to deliver findings and support continuous improvement.
• Provide AML audit expertise during meetings, workshops, and leadership reviews.
• Create and update guidance and program documentation.
• Conduct investigations and audits covering suspicious activity, sanctions, and enhanced due diligence.
• Deliver professional written feedback and share industry best practices.
• Apply analytical thinking to various product types within an AML framework.
• Link policies, SOPs, internal controls, monitoring, and reporting to enhance compliance and risk management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of AML or compliance experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency (pivot tables, charts, complex formulas, data cleansing).
• Professional auditing qualification or comparable risk/compliance credentials.
• Working knowledge of EU financial institution, money‑service‑business, and banking compliance.
• Experience handling confidential information with high attention to detail.
• Fluency in Arabic, French, Spanish, or Italian.
