AI/ML Expert – Driver Modeling Research

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled AI/ML Expert to design, develop and deploy cutting‑edge computer‑vision systems for driver‑modeling applications. The role supports the safety, comfort and personalization of next‑generation automotive interior monitoring products.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pioneering research on domain‑aware representation learning to extract robust, semantically meaningful features from multi‑modal sensor data.
• Develop advanced models for driver state and behavior analysis, including detection of distraction, drowsiness, micro‑sleeps, sleep onset and emotional states.
• Design algorithms for driver intent and activity recognition such as head‑pose, gaze tracking, eye‑gaze estimation and activity detection (e.g., phone use, eating).
• Translate research prototypes into production‑ready, reliable solutions for automotive interior monitoring.

Required profile

• Strong research background in AI/ML with practical engineering experience.
• Ability to turn innovative concepts into robust, scalable automotive applications.
