Accounting Manager – Fixed Assets & Lease Accounting

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our fixed‑asset and lease accounting functions within Cisco’s Corporate Controller’s Group. You will ensure compliance with US GAAP, drive process improvements and partner with finance and operational teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting processes, procedures and systems for fixed assets and lease accounting in line with US GAAP and company policy.
• Oversee fixed‑asset operations, audits and physical verification of assets.
• Manage lease portfolio accounting, including extensions, amendments and terminations.
• Interpret business requirements for new fixed‑asset projects and align systems and processes.
• Prepare accounting memos, close decks and reporting packages for fixed assets and lease accounting.
• Lead projects to streamline or design end‑to‑end processes and resolve IT‑related issues affecting these processes.
• Conduct ad‑hoc data analysis, reporting and metrics to support decision‑making.
• Act as Global Process Owner, collaborating cross‑functionally to ensure compliance and resolve policy issues.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance with 15+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a large multinational.
• Proven ability to design end‑to‑end processes and lead complex initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset and experience working in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
• Prior experience with a Big Four accounting firm is a significant advantage.
